Create Hidden User Account In XP

The tweak allows an account to be hidden on the Windows that other users account, This feature is only available in Windows 2000 and Windows xp.

HOW TO DO : Normally when you Logon into windows xp, the Icon appears for the specific user to login here.

So of you want to To logon to hidden account that you have created Press Cntrl+Alt+Del twice at the welcome screen to make windows security doalog box appear. So here you type the hidden username and password and then log in !!!

#[Start] [Run] [Regedit]

#Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
#Modify/Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.

#Data Type: REG_DWORD [Dword Value] // Value Name: Type Name of Account to be Hidden

#Setting for Value Data: [0 = Account is Hidden / 1 = Enabled]

#Exit Registry and Reboot

DISADVANTAGE : Administrative users will be able to see your hidden account in Control Panel/User Accounts, so keep this in mind when you're planning this out.
